Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head – NPD to lead product development and project execution in a heavy engineering and electromechanical environment. The candidate will oversee multiple projects, manage cross\-functional teams, ensure quality and timely delivery, and report project status to top management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all project phases, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and start\-up.
• Manage project execution to meet timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, business development, and internal engineering teams.
• Lead and mentor project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and project status updates.
• Identify project risks, delays, and scope changes and implement recovery plans.
• Manage client communication, negotiations, and project expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, cost efficiency, and on\-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in project and product development management.
• Experience in low\-volume, highly engineered product development.
• Background in Aerospace, Defence, or Railways is preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering disciplines and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Experience Required

20\+ years in project/product development within a heavy engineering or electromechanical environment.

Additional Requirement

Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

Pay: ₹3,000,000\.00 \- ₹3,500,000\.00 per year
