Position Summary
The Project Delivery Head is responsible for leading the end\-to\-end execution and delivery of engineering, design, manufacturing, and product development projects. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while achieving customer satisfaction and business objectives.
The incumbent will oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder communication, cross\-functional coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects and customer programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery Leadership
- Lead the successful execution and delivery of multiple engineering and manufacturing projects.
- Establish project governance frameworks, delivery processes, and performance standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Drive project reviews and ensure timely resolution of delivery challenges.
Customer \& Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary escalation point for customers regarding project execution and delivery.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
Program Planning \& Execution
- Develop project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Coordinate activities across design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and supply chain teams.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources to maximize productivity and profitability.
- Implement robust project tracking and reporting mechanisms.
Financial \& Commercial Management
- Monitor project budgets, margins, and financial performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Support contract reviews and commercial discussions related to project execution.
- Ensure projects achieve targeted revenue and profitability objectives.
Risk Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage scope changes and ensure proper change control processes.
- Proactively address issues impacting project schedules, quality, or costs.
- Ensure business continuity and contingency planning for critical projects.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop project managers and cross\-functional project teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
- Drive capability development in project management methodologies and best practices.
- Conduct performance reviews and succession planning for the project management team.
Quality \& Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery performance.
- Implement project management tools, dashboards, and KPIs for operational excellence.
- Promote Lean, Six Sigma, and best\-practice methodologies where applicable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field).
- Master's degree in Engineering Management, Operations, or Business Administration preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
Experience
- 10\+ years of experience in engineering services, product development, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
- Minimum 8–10 years in leadership roles managing complex, multi\-disciplinary projects.
- Proven experience handling large customer accounts and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong understanding of design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
