We are looking for an experienced **Head of Toolroom** to lead Toolroom operations, mould designing, tooling development, mould maintenance and technical support, ensuring quality, timely execution and operational efficiency.

• *Key Responsibilities**
• -----------------------

### **1\. Toolroom Operations \& Mould Management**

• Oversee daily Toolroom operations, mould assembly, repairs and maintenance.
• **Supervise mould designing activities, review designs and engineering drawings, and ensure proper execution of design modifications.**
• Review new mould trials, sampling and approvals before production release.
• Support new product development and customer\-related technical requirements.

### **2\. Team \& Department Management**

• Lead and guide Assistant Managers and junior team members, providing technical training and support.
• Plan and monitor workloads, ensuring timely job completion and proper shift handovers.
• Communicate job status, operational constraints and key updates to the HOD.

### **3\. Quality \& Continuous Improvement**

• Monitor job accuracy and product quality, identify defects and ensure corrective actions.
• Verify mould maintenance checklists, product process parameters and relevant records.
• Drive 5S, continuous improvement and adherence to standard operating procedures.

### **4\. Maintenance, Safety \& Compliance**

• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep with the Maintenance team.
• Support troubleshooting of machine breakdowns and other technical issues.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with applicable site requirements.

### **5\. Documentation, Inventory \& Coordination**

• Review CNC/VMC job sheets, preventive maintenance records, mould repair history and incoming mould checklists.
• Maintain control of product and mould drawings, specifications and approved mould/container/cap lists.
• Monitor Toolroom inventory, mould raw material requirements, conventional machine work records and RGP tracking.
• Coordinate with Production, R\&D, Quality and Maintenance teams to meet operational requirements.

• *Required Experience \& Skills**

• 15\+ years of relevant experience in Toolroom operations, mould designing and development, preferably in plastic manufacturing or packaging.
• Strong knowledge of mould design, mould trials, assembly, maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience leading Toolroom teams and managing departmental operations.
• Strong technical problem\-solving, planning and cross\-functional coordination skills.
