Position Overview
- As an HR Executive at VIS, you won't just be pushing paperwork—you will be the operational backbone of our new Ahmedabad office. Working directly alongside our HR Manager, you will handle everything from scheduling interviews with top\-tier counseling talent to ensuring smooth monthly payroll and office engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- End\-to\-End Sourcing: Actively source, screen, and headhunt candidates across Ahmedabad and Gujarat for key roles (Study Abroad Counselors, Work Abroad Consultants, and Administrative staff).
- Interview Coordination: Manage the hiring pipeline—scheduling technical rounds, coordinating assessments, and keeping candidates engaged throughout the VIS hiring process.
- Onboarding Execution: Facilitate a seamless day\-one onboarding experience, ensuring new hires have their workstations, compliance documents, and induction schedules ready.
2\. Daily HR Operations \& Documentation
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Maintain physical and digital employee files, tracking everything from offer letters to confirmation and exit clearances.
- Attendance \& Leaves: Monitor daily biometric logs, manage leave balances, and update the attendance database for monthly payroll processing.
- HRIS Upkeep: Keep our HR internal tracking sheets and HRIS platforms updated with 100% accuracy.
3\. Payroll \& Statutory Compliance Support
- Payroll Coordination: Assist the HR Manager in gathering monthly payroll inputs, variable incentive data, and deduction details.
- Compliance Documentation: Help compile necessary documentation for local labor law filings, employee benefits, and statutory records.
4\. Employee Engagement \& Office Culture
- Culture Champion: Plan and execute local employee engagement activities, festive celebrations, and team\-building events to keep morale high.
- Grievance Support: Act as an accessible point of contact for daily employee queries regarding policies, leaves, or office facilities.
Required Qualifications \& Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (An MBA/PGDM in HR is a strong plus).
- Experience: 6 months to 2 years of solid hands\-on experience in core HR roles, ideally handling a mix of recruitment and generalist operations.
- Startup/Consultancy Background: Prior experience working in a fast\-growing startup, an executive search firm, or an overseas education/immigration consultancy will give you a massive advantage.preffered
- Language Proficiency: Impeccable communication skills in English. Professional fluency in Hindi and Gujarati is preferred to effectively coordinate with local candidates and regional vendors.
Technical Skills: Highly proficient with MS Excel, LinkedIn Recruiter, local job portals (Indeed, Naukri), and standard HRIS software.
