AERTICKET is one of the world's leading airline ticket consolidators and travel distribution companies, providing innovative travel solutions to airlines, travel agencies, and corporate clients. We are looking for a dynamic and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage the complete Human Resources function for our Kochi office.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and result\-oriented HR Manager to oversee end\-to\-end Human Resource operations, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR operations, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling the complete employee lifecycle while fostering a positive and high\-performance work culture.
Key Responsibilities1\. Talent Acquisition \& Recruitment
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower planning to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and prepare job descriptions.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, social media, consultancies, and headhunting.
- Screen resumes, conduct HR interviews, coordinate technical interviews, and manage the selection process.
- Negotiate salary offers and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Track recruitment metrics such as time\-to\-hire, cost\-per\-hire, and offer\-to\-joining ratio.
2\. HR Operations
- Handle employee onboarding, orientation, and induction programs.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation with complete accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage employee confirmations, probation reviews, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, and employee database management through HRMS.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the finance/payroll team.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, and employee\-related documentation.
3\. Employee Relations \& Engagement
- Build a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and employee satisfaction.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, team\-building initiatives, and recognition programs.
- Conduct regular one\-on\-one discussions and employee feedback sessions.
- Support managers in resolving workplace conflicts.
4\. Performance Management
- Drive the performance appraisal process across departments.
- Assist department heads in setting KPIs and performance objectives.
- Monitor employee performance and recommend development initiatives.
- Identify high\-potential employees and support succession planning.
5\. HR Policies \& Compliance
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Maintain HR documentation and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
6\. Learning \& Development
- Identify training needs through performance evaluations and business requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external learning programs.
- Support employee career development initiatives and continuous learning.
7\. Exit Management
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to improve employee retention.
- Ensure smooth clearance, handover, and final settlement processes.
- Maintain attrition reports and recommend retention strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
- Professional HR certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- **5–8 years** of progressive HR experience.
- Minimum **3 years** of experience in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner role.
- Proven experience in handling end\-to\-end recruitment and complete HR operations.
- Experience in the travel, aviation, hospitality, or service industry will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Good knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience working with HRMS and MS Office applications.
