As our founding intern team grows, we need someone to own the people side of things — from the moment a candidate applies to the moment they receive their certificate. You will be the human behind the hiring process, making sure every intern feels welcomed, informed, and set up for success.
As an early\-stage bootstrapped startup, we are unable to offer financial compensation at this time. But you will be building a real HR function from scratch — something most HR graduates don't get to do until years into their career.
- **Hiring Coordination:** Post job listings, screen applications, schedule interviews, and manage candidate communication on behalf of the founders.
- **Offer \& Onboarding Documents:** Draft and send offer letters, internship agreements, and onboarding kits to newly selected interns.
- **Document Management:** Maintain an organized repository of all intern documents — agreements, ID proofs, certificates — using Google Drive or Notion.
- **Intern Onboarding:** Ensure every new intern receives a smooth onboarding experience \- welcome message, team introduction, tool access, and clarity on their role.
- **Offboarding:** When an intern completes their tenure, coordinate the exit process — collect feedback, issue certificates, and send letters of recommendation drafted by the founders.
- **Leave \& Attendance Tracking:** Maintain a simple tracker for intern availability, leaves, and active status.
- **Policy Documentation:** Help draft basic internal policies — code of conduct, communication guidelines, and internship terms — so expectations are clear from day one.
- **Culture \& Engagement:** Organize small virtual check\-ins or team moments that keep the intern team connected and motivated around the ResQBag mission.
- *Who We Are Looking For**
- You are highly organized and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- You communicate warmly and clearly — candidates and interns should feel respected and informed at every step.
- You are detail\-oriented. A missed signature on an agreement or a delayed welcome email is not something you let happen.
- You are comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and basic tools like Notion or Trello.
- Prior experience in campus recruitment drives, college HR committees, or event coordination is a strong plus.
- Students in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications are highly encouraged to apply.
- **End\-to\-End HR Ownership:** You won't be filing papers in a corner — you will be designing and running the entire people function of a real startup.
- **Portfolio\-Ready Work:** Offer letters, onboarding kits, HR policies, and hiring pipelines you built from scratch — all yours to showcase.
- **Direct Founder Access:** Work closely with the Co\-Founders and be trusted with sensitive hiring and team information.
- **Future Opportunities:** As ResQBag raises funding and scales its team, a strong HR intern will be the natural first pick for a paid People Operations role.
