We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and detail\-oriented **Human Resources Intern** to support our team for a minimum period of 6 months. This role offers an immersive, hands\-on opportunity for an HR student or recent graduate to learn the inner workings of nonprofit human resource operations, talent acquisition, and organizational development. You will work closely with our core team to help maintain a passionate, compliant, and thriving workforce.
- **Talent Acquisition Support:** Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidate profiles for diverse roles (such as special educators, project coordinators, and capacity builders) across our national networks.
- **Onboarding \& Documentation:** Help coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, consultants, and volunteers. Maintain, audit, and systematically update both digital and physical employee files.
- **Employee Engagement \& Culture:** Support the planning and execution of internal team\-building initiatives, training workshops, and wellness programs designed for our multi\-disciplinary team.
- **HR Operations \& Administration:** Assist with day\-to\-day administrative tasks, including tracking attendance, managing leave records, compiling documentation for travel allowances, and drafting official correspondence.
- **Database Management:** Keep internal HR trackers clean and up\-to\-date, ensuring absolute confidentiality and strict alignment with organizational compliance, child protection policies, and human rights frameworks.
- *Who You Are (Requirements)**
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree/diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Work (MSW), or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (proficiency in Hindi or Gujarati is a strong advantage).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A strong sense of empathy, integrity, and a genuine interest in the development and disability\-inclusion sector.
- Available for a **minimum commitment of 6 months**.
