Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all HR functions across the organization. The role involves recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, training \& development, and workforce planning to ensure smooth business operations and employee engagement within the food manufacturing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment \& Talent Acquisition
- Manage end\-to\-end recruitment for plant, production, quality, sales, warehouse, and corporate positions.
- Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.
- Conduct interviews, salary negotiations, and onboarding activities.
- Develop recruitment strategies to reduce hiring turnaround time.
Employee Relations
- Maintain positive employee relations and workplace discipline.
- Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Conduct employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
Performance Management
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
- Support department heads in setting KPIs and performance objectives.
- Identify high\-potential employees and succession planning opportunities.
Training \& Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Organize technical, behavioral, leadership, and compliance training programs.
- Monitor training effectiveness and employee skill development.
Payroll \& Compensation
- Coordinate payroll processing and salary administration.
- Ensure accuracy in attendance, leave management, incentives, and overtime calculations.
- Manage employee benefits, insurance, and compensation structures.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Handle PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act, Shops \& Establishments Act, and other applicable laws.
- Coordinate audits and inspections from government authorities.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.
HR Operations \& Administration
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and HRMIS data.
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and workforce productivity.
- Generate HR reports and analytics for management review.
Industrial Relations (Manufacturing Environment)
- Manage relationships with workers, supervisors, and unions (if applicable).
- Support disciplinary proceedings and domestic inquiries.
- Ensure harmonious industrial relations within manufacturing units.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, MSW (HR), or equivalent qualification.
- 8–12 years of HR experience, preferably in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or Food Processing industries.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience in handling plant manpower and factory HR operations.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in food manufacturing plants, FMCG, sweets \& snacks production units, bakery, dairy, or restaurant chains.
