The Inside Sales Executive (Exports) is responsible for driving international business growth by managing the end\-of\-the\-end export sales process. This role involves high\-level negotiation with global principals, technical support for Bills of Materials (BOM), and rigorous adherence to export documentation and logistics protocols.
1\. Responsible for preparing timely quotation to RFQs received from customers through sales. The job involves supporting both franchised and non\-franchised lines to assigned customers/territories.
2\. Negotiate with Principals and/or other suppliers to meet customer's target prices as well as to increase profitability of sales.
3\. Maintain good relationships with all existing Principals/vendors/customers and strive to develop new ones.
4\. Identify high runners/fast moving parts and negotiate volume prices with suppliers.
5\. Work closely with Business Development managers, obtain feedback on quotes submitted and ensure maximum order closures.
6\. Maintain preferred supplier database for non\-franchised lines and negotiate best commercial terms to the advantage of the company.
7\. Ensure that we support a maximum number of parts in each customer BOM.
8\. Arranging samples from Principals/other suppliers.
9\. Order processing, inventory control and management of scheduled orders.
10\. Liaising between the Business development associates and the Dispatch team.
11\. Work with the foreign/Indian principle be their single point of contact.
12\. Work with Sales Directors, Back End Product Teams, and other stakeholders to help generate and grow sales for a specific product line and/or vertical.
13\. Perform front\-end technical and sales activities for building business for a specific product line and/or vertical.
14\. Participate in sales strategy meetings to develop a strong understanding of the product line and industry.
15\. Visit customers to create and build relationships and solve their techno commercial queries and thereby increase sales.
16\. Collaborate with other stakeholders to provide customers with product\-specific techno Commercial support and other queries.
17\. Maintain and build excellent relationships with product principles.
18\. Prepare Proforma Invoices and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure all export documentation (Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.) complies with the destination country’s regulations.
19\. Maintain a high level of engagement with existing overseas accounts to ensure repeat business and account growth.
20\. Diligently update the CRM or the Business Sheets with lead status, communication logs, and sales forecasts.
21\. **VMI Program Management and Replenishment Planning** Own the end\-to\-end execution of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) contracts with key accounts — including setting up consignment stock levels, defining min/max thresholds, and ensuring timely replenishment to prevent line stoppages at the customer's facility. Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile stock holdings with agreed contractual terms.
22\. **Premium Client Relationship Stewardship** Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for designated premium and key accounts, conducting regular structured business reviews (monthly/quarterly) to assess account health, discuss demand forecasts, resolve escalations, and identify upsell or cross\-sell opportunities across new product lines or geographies.
23\. **Contract Negotiation and Renewal for Long\-Term Agreements** Lead the negotiation, drafting, and timely renewal of long\-term supply agreements, VMI contracts, and pricing frameworks with key accounts — ensuring commercial terms remain mutually beneficial while protecting margin thresholds and aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
24\. **Demand Forecasting and Supply Chain Alignment** Collaborate closely with key accounts to gather rolling demand forecasts and translate them into actionable procurement plans. Work with internal supply chain, warehouse, and principal partners to ensure stock availability commitments under VMI arrangements are consistently met, minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence risk.
1\. Any Graduate/Diploma/BE/B.Tech \[Preferably in Electronics, Electrical or Communication].
2\. Minimum 5years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Coordination \& Logistics or Customer Service.
3\. Prior experience in trading or distribution companies is a plus.
4\. Strong Communication Skills in English.
5\. Proficient in MS Office, Excel and ERP Systems (e.g., Navision).
6\. Knowledge of business processes and back\-office operations is essential.
