Job Summary

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and analytical Investment Analyst to support investment research, financial analysis, and market evaluation activities. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of financial markets, investment products, financial statements, and analytical techniques.

The candidate will be responsible for gathering financial information, evaluating investment opportunities, preparing research reports, and supporting informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and investment research to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Analyse company financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Evaluate investment performance, financial risks, and market trends.
• Prepare financial models, valuation reports, and investment analysis.
• Monitor stock market movements, industry developments, and economic indicators.
• Collect and analyse financial data from reliable sources.
• Prepare investment presentations, reports, and analytical summaries.
• Support portfolio monitoring and performance evaluation.
• Assist senior team members in investment planning and decision\-making.
• Maintain accurate financial records and research documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–1\.5 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, financial research, equity research, or financial analysis.
• Basic understanding of financial markets and investment instruments.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis and company valuation.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem\-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial data analysis.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with financial data.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Familiarity with equity markets and investment research.
• Understanding of financial ratios and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of financial research tools and databases.
• CFA or other relevant finance certifications will be an added advantage.
