As an IT Helpdesk Executive for a freelancing project based in Maharashtra, you will serve as the first point of contact for all technical user queries. The role involves delivering prompt support via phone, email, chat, or in-person to diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, operating system, and network issues. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, alongside managing user accounts, passwords, and access permissions in Active Directory. Supporting standard business applications like Microsoft Windows and Office 365 is essential. You will log all incidents and service requests in a ticketing system, escalate complex issues appropriately, and assist with employee onboarding and offboarding. Maintaining an accurate IT asset inventory and ensuring compliance with security protocols are also key responsibilities.
