Jr. Architect

• *Job Responsibilities:**

• Assist in developing architectural concepts, design proposals, and planning layouts for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, detailed working drawings, and construction drawing sets.
• Develop and update drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in building approval drawings, documentation, and related approval procedures.
• Support design development through sketches, 3D models, material research, diagrams, and visual presentations.
• Incorporate revisions, client feedback, and consultant comments into drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other consultant drawings.
• Assist in area calculations, schedules, architectural detailing, and preparation of project documentation.
• Conduct site visits, as required, to understand project progress, resolve drawing\-related queries, and support execution teams.
• Maintain proper drawing records, revision histories, and project files.
• Work closely with Senior Architects and Project Leads to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

• *2\. Educational Qualification \& Experience**

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural firm or construction\-related organization.
• Practical knowledge of architectural planning, construction drawings, building materials, and construction practices.
• Knowledge of building approval procedures and approval drawing preparation is essential.
• Interest in high\-rise residential and commercial architectural projects.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop technical and project coordination skills.

• *3\. Technical Skills \& Competencies**

• **AutoCAD:** Good working proficiency is mandatory.
• **SketchUp:** Working knowledge for 3D modelling and design development.
• **Plan Approvals:** Knowledge of architectural approval drawings and submission procedures.
• **Visualization Tools:** Knowledge of Photoshop, Enscape, Lumion, or similar software will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting, detailing, and presentation standards.
• knowledge of NBCC, fire and ODA Act is a must.
• Good visualisation skills, design sensibility, attention to detail, and problem\-solving ability.
