• *Job Summary**

We are looking for a proactive and detail\-oriented Junior Safety Officer to support the implementation of health and safety standards across construction sites. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, hazard identification, and accident prevention.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure workers use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist in conducting safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for workers and staff.
• Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety documentation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to address safety concerns.
• Monitor housekeeping practices and ensure safe storage of materials and equipment.
• Assist in emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills and evacuation procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project site.

• *Required Qualifications**

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a recognized Safety qualification (such as Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer or Junior Safety Officer in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment, and hazard control.
• Familiarity with applicable safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
• Good communication, observation, and problem\-solving skills.
