Junior Accounts Executive - Zamin Pallavaram,Chennai

Role Summary

The Accounts Executive will handle core accounting operations accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, statutory compliance support, and month\-end close assistance working closely with the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.

Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a periodic basis.

Support GST and TDS computation, return filing, and other statutory compliance activities.

Maintain books of accounts in Tally/ERP and ensure timely, accurate data entry.

Assist the Finance Manager with month\-end and year\-end close activities, including accruals and provisions.

Raise customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on collections.

Manage petty cash, employee expense reimbursements, and vendor payments.

Prepare schedules and documentation to support internal and statutory audits.

Assist with basic MIS reports and variance summaries for management review.

Skills \& Qualifications

B.Com/M.Com or equivalent; CA\-Inter/pursuing CA is an advantage.

1\-2 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a startup, EdTech, or fast\-paced environment.

Working knowledge of Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic reconciliation work).

Sound working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Indian accounting/compliance requirements.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet close deadlines.

Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams.

Pay: ₹19,848\.86 \- ₹21,233\.95 per month
