Core tasks include compiling, preparing, and filing periodic and annual GST returns. A significant part of the role involves reconciling GSTR-2A/2B with the company's internal purchase registers to accurately compute and claim Input Tax Credit (ITC). The executive will verify vendor invoices for correct GSTIN, tax rates (CGST, SGST, IGST), and HSN/SAC codes, and scrutinize ledgers to ensure proper tax computation and deposit. They will also support audit preparations by gathering necessary documentation and will handle day-to-day accounting by passing general journal and voucher entries. The position offers a monthly salary between ₹25,000 and ₹40,000.
