We are hiring an HR professional to manage HR operations including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, People Development, Learning \& Development and Performance Management. The position reports to the Chief HR Officer and would work with the leadership team in SOS Children's Villages of India.
- **Talent Management**
- Develop, review, and update job descriptions aligned with business requirements and organizational structure.
- Lead the hiring team for managing recruitment activities across PAN India.
- Drive hiring through campus recruitment, job portals, employee referrals, social media platforms, headhunting firms and other sourcing channels.
- Handle bulk hiring requirements while ensuring quality of hires and adherence to timelines.
- **Talent Pipeline \& Workforce Planning**
- Identify and establish alternative sourcing channels to strengthen recruitment efforts.
- Build and maintain a talent pool/bench strength for critical and future positions.
- **Competency Assessment**
- Design and implement competency\-based assessment frameworks.
- Evaluate candidates and employees against defined behavioral and functional competencies.
- Guide team leads to map key competencies against job roles at the time of hiring and performance management.
- **Succession Planning**
- Partner with leadership teams to identify high\-potential employees and develop succession plans for key roles.
- **Employer Branding \& External Certifications**
- Lead organizational participation in employer\-branding initiatives and certifications such as Great Place to Work (GPTW).
- Coordinate surveys, audits, documentation, and improvement initiatives required for certification.
- Conduct market and industry benchmarking studies related to HR practices, compensation, benefits, talent management, and employee engagement.
- Recommend best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- **Performance Management \& Improvement**
- Support managers in performance evaluation, coaching, and corrective action processes.
- Guide employees on performance management system of the organization.
- Design and manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for underperforming employees.
- **Learning \& Development**
- Identify organizational and individual skill gaps through performance reviews and competency assessments.
- Collaborate with or lead the Learning \& Development function to design and implement training programs aligned with business needs.
- *Qualifications and Skills**
- PG\-HR with 10\-12 years of experience and at least 7 years with the development sector at a senior level. NGO experience is a MUST.
- Strong experience in managing HR Operations \- Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Employee Development.
- Preferably should be able to manage Learning \& Development function also.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience of working on HR software and HR Analytics, excellent at MS Office suites
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced, mission\-driven environment.
- High level of empathy, integrity, and people orientation.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Willing to travel PAN India to our program locations as per requirement
