Job Summary
Shree Ram Paints is looking for an energetic and aggressive Business Development Manager who can expand our paint manufacturing business, increase sales, appoint new dealers/distributors, and strengthen market presence across assigned territories. The candidate should have strong market knowledge in paints, building materials, hardware, or construction\-related industries and must be capable of achieving rapid business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business growth strategies for paint products.
- Appoint and manage new dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Expand market reach in new cities and territories.
- Generate sales from retail, wholesale, project, and institutional markets.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and hardware dealers.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and competitor activities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets aggressively.
- Lead negotiations and close new business deals effectively.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely supply.
- Monitor dealer performance and support them with promotional activities.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 3–8 years of experience in paints, construction materials, chemicals, or FMCG sales.
- Strong dealer/distributor network and market knowledge.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel extensively for business development activities.
- Target\-oriented and self\-motivated personality.
- Strong capability to open new markets aggressively.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in paint manufacturing or decorative/industrial paints industry.
- Proven track record of increasing sales and dealer network.
- Good understanding of market expansion strategies.
