Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead solar business expansion across commercial, industrial, telecom, institutional, and government sectors. The candidate will be responsible for revenue growth, strategic partnerships, project acquisition, and team management.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in solar EPC sales, open access projects, industrial energy solutions, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business growth strategy for solar and renewable energy projects
- Lead acquisition of rooftop solar, open access, telecom tower, and hybrid renewable projects
- Build strong relationships with industries, corporates, telecom companies, consultants, and government authorities
- Manage key accounts and large\-value clients
- Lead sales team and monitor performance
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams for project execution
- Prepare techno\-commercial proposals and negotiate contracts
- Identify market trends and new renewable business opportunities
- Participate in tenders and government solar programs
- Drive monthly revenue targets and profitability
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Solar EPC business and electricity tariff structures
- Expertise in industrial and commercial solar sales
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of:
- Net Metering
- Open Access
- Group Captive
- Hybrid Solar\-Wind Systems
- Telecom Tower Solarization
- Ability to handle large clients and strategic partnerships
Educational Qualification
- BE/BTech in Electrical/Mechanical/Energy Engineering
- MBA Marketing/Business Development preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Existing network in industrial and corporate sectors preferred
- Experience handling projects above 100 kW to MW scale
- Strong understanding of Maharashtra solar market and DISCOM policies
Salary
₹3 LPA – ₹10 LPA \+ Performance Incentives \+ Business Allowances
