Job Summary
The Manager – Electrical \& IBMS will be responsible for managing and maintaining all electrical systems and Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) across the facility. The role involves ensuring uninterrupted operations, compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance planning, vendor management, and optimization of energy consumption.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Operations \& Maintenance
- Manage the operation and maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems.
- Ensure smooth functioning of transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, APFC panels, switchgear, and distribution networks.
- Monitor electrical load management and power quality.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Attend breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime.
IBMS/BMS Management
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the Integrated Building Management System (IBMS).
- Monitor HVAC, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, lighting control, and utility systems through IBMS.
- Analyze system alarms and initiate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with OEMs and service providers for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
Energy Management
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings.
- Implement energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare MIS reports on power consumption and system performance.
Team \& Vendor Management
- Lead and supervise electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Manage AMC vendors and ensure compliance with service\-level agreements.
- Conduct technical training and skill development programs for team members.
Safety \& Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain records related to electrical inspections, testing, and certifications.
- Ensure adherence to EHS policies and procedures.
Documentation \& Reporting
- Maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and maintenance records.
- Prepare monthly operational and maintenance reports.
- Support audits and client reviews with necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Additional certifications in BMS/IBMS, Energy Management, or Facility Management will be preferred.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in electrical maintenance and facility management.
- Experience in commercial buildings, airports, IT parks, hospitals, data centers, or large infrastructure projects.
- Hands\-on experience with IBMS/BMS platforms and electrical utilities.
