Job Summary
TAG Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated professional for the role of Manager – Quality. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in handling end\-to\-end quality operations, including NABL audits, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Incoming Inspection, Forging, insulator \& Machine Shop knowledge, and Customer Quality Management. This leadership role demands experience in managing large inspection teams, driving quality initiatives, and reporting to top management.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Quality Leadership \& Team Management
Lead and supervise a team of over 30 quality inspectors across various stages of production and incoming inspection.
Provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high inspection standards.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and quality ownership.
2\. NABL Audit \& Compliance
Plan, lead, and execute NABL audit readiness for the in\-house testing laboratory.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and compliance records as per NABL requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and certification bodies.
3\. Inspection Systems
Manage and monitor Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Incoming Inspection, and In\-process inspection processes.
Ensure calibration and validation of inspection tools and equipment as per standards.
Establish inspection protocols and acceptance criteria aligned with customer expectations.
4\. Forging \& Machine Shop Quality
Ensure quality compliance in forging operations including dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and metallurgical properties.
Monitor quality parameters and inspection points in machine shop including CNC, VMC, and conventional processes.
Coordinate with production teams to address deviations and implement corrective actions.
5\. Customer Interaction \& Complaint Resolution
Handle customer queries and quality complaints with a structured approach to RCA and CAPA.
Liaise with clients on technical audits, quality approvals, and performance improvements.
Prepare and share detailed quality reports and dashboards for customer feedback.
6\. Reporting \& Coordination
Report key quality metrics, non\-conformities, and audit summaries to senior management.
Participate in cross\-functional meetings to align production, engineering, and quality objectives.
Maintain documentation for ISO, NABL, and customer\-specific quality requirements.
Qualifications \& Experience
Technical Knowledge: \- NABL Accreditation Process \- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) \- Incoming Inspection \& Supplier Quality \- Forging \& Machining Process Controls \- ISO Standards \& Customer Interaction \- Quality
Tools: 7QC Tools, RCA, CAPA, FMEA, PPAP, etc.
