• *Key Responsibilities**

• *1\. Manufacturing Operations Management**

• Lead overall manufacturing operations for **IMM, IBM, ISBM, and EBM lines**.
• Ensure achievement of **production targets (volume, efficiency, yield, OEE)**.
• Optimize **machine utilization, cycle times, mold performance, and manpower**.
• Drive **capacity planning** and production scheduling aligned with sales demand.

• *Process Excellence \& Technical Leadership**

* Provide strong technical leadership in

• + Injection molding parameters and troubleshooting

+ Blow molding processes (IBM / ISBM / EBM)

+ Resin selection, drying, material handling, and regrind control

• Lead **process standardization, SOP development, and best practice deployment**.
• Drive **cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and energy optimization**.
• Support **new mold, machine, and technology qualification**.

• *. Quality Assurance \& Compliance**

• Ensure consistent product quality meeting **customer specifications and regulatory standards**.
• Drive adherence to **ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, GMP, or customer\-specific quality systems**.
• Collaborate with Quality teams on:
• + Root cause analysis (CAPA)

+ Process audits

+ Customer complaints and corrective actions

• *Cost Control \& Productivity Improvement**

• Own manufacturing **cost KPIs**: conversion cost, wastage, power, consumables.
• Implement **Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and Kaizen initiatives**.
• Control **material loss, mold damage, breakdown losses, and overtime costs**.
• Support budgeting, cost forecasting, and profitability improvement.

• *Maintenance \& Asset Management**

* Partner with Maintenance teams to ensure

• + High equipment uptime

+ Preventive \& predictive maintenance execution

+ Critical spares planning

• Oversee lifecycle management of **machines, molds, auxiliaries, and utilities**.

• *Qualifications \& Experience**

• *Education**

• B.E. / B. Tech in **Plastics Engineering / Polymer Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/ CIPET**
• MBA / PGDM in Operations (preferred)

• *Experience**

• **15–25 years** in rigid plastic manufacturing
• Minimum **5–8 years in a senior manufacturing leadership role**
• Strong hands\-on exposure to **IMM, IBM, ISBM, and EBM technologies**
