The MEP Head is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, ELV, and related building services activities across projects. The role ensures that MEP systems are designed, installed, tested, commissioned, and maintained in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
- Lead MEP execution for multiple projects from design through commissioning.
- Develop MEP project schedules and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify design conflicts and coordinate resolutions.
- Value engineer MEP systems to optimize cost and performance.
- Supervise installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
- Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with approved drawings.
- Conduct site inspections and audits.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Verify system functionality and performance.
- Ensure completion of snag rectification and punch\-list items.
- Review and approve O\&M manuals and as\-built documentation.
- Prepare and monitor MEP budgets.
- Review BOQs, estimates, and vendor quotations.
- Control project costs and identify savings opportunities.
- Manage variation orders and claims.
- Evaluate and select MEP contractors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and technical agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and corrective actions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop MEP engineers and supervisors.
- Conduct performance reviews and training programs.
- Foster collaboration across project teams.
- 12–18\+ years of experience in MEP design, execution, and project management.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership or departmental head role.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
Pay: ₹35,000\.00 \- ₹95,000\.00 per month
