*Remote Network Engineer Location: Ahmedabad, India Experience Level: 2–5 years of relevant experience Employment Type: Full\-time, Dedicated** **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Network Engineer based in Ahmedabad to join our growing team. In this role, you will be dedicated to supporting our client, who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of complex IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for remotely monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, IP phone systems, and security camera networks for their end clients across the world. **Key Responsibilities** Network Monitoring \& Maintenance: Actively monitor network health, uptime, and performance across multiple client sites using centralized management platforms. Troubleshooting \& Support: Provide timely Tier 2/Tier 3 remote technical support for complex network infrastructure, routing/switching issues, and connectivity drops. VoIP \& Phone System Management: Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot IP phone systems, SIP trunks, call routing, and voice quality issues. Surveillance System Support: Provide remote support for IP\-based camera systems, including managing Network Video Recorders (NVRs), IP addressing, camera firmware updates, and remote viewing configurations. **Documentation**: Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration backups, and detailed ticketing logs for all client interactions and support cases. Technical Requirements \& Tech Stack To be successful in this role, you must have hands\-on, direct experience managing and troubleshooting the following brands: 1\. Networking (Core Focus) Ubiquiti (UniFi): Mastery of UniFi Network Controllers, switches, Access Points (APs), and security gateways. MikroTik: Solid experience with RouterOS, configuring firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and advanced routing protocols. Ruckus \& TP\-Link: Experience configuring and managing enterprise wireless access points and network switches. 2\. Phone Systems (VoIP) Grandstream \& Mitel: Proven experience configuring, provisioning, and maintaining IP PBX systems, desk phones, and softphones. 3\. Camera Systems (CCTV / IP Video) Hikvision \& LTS Security: Familiarity with configuring IP cameras, configuring NVRs/DVRs, port forwarding, and troubleshooting remote stream access. **Soft Skills \& Other Qualifications** Excellent English Communication: Because you will be interacting directly with US clients and teams, exceptional verbal and written English is mandatory. Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work dedicated night shifts or overlapping hours aligned with US time zones (EST/CST/PST). Problem\-Solving: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to diagnose and resolve network issues under pressure. **Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):** CCNA Ubiquiti Broadband Certified (UBC), MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), or equivalent industry certifications.
