Operations Analyst

• *Job Title: Operations Analyst**
• Support the Operations Team Lead in managing and coordinating daily analytics operations and support within the enterprise Analytics domain.
• Share responsibility for ensuring that global analytics operations and support processes function smoothly and consistently.
• Actively ensure that governance standards, documentation, and handover artefacts are followed from development to operations.
• Manage and track change requests, service requests, and incidents, supporting prioritization, resolution, and communication.
• Work in line with DevOps and agile principles, supporting continuous delivery and operational stability.
• Collaborate with other analytics and IT stakeholders to ensure SLAs and delivery commitments are met.
• Handle complex operational incidents and issues, supporting analysis, root cause identification, and timely resolution.
• Provide operational support for analytics solutions built on Databricks and Microsoft Fabric, with a strong understanding of how these platforms are used in enterprise analytics environments.
• Work with cross‑functional support teams (platform, infrastructure, security) to resolve production issues and proactively identify opportunities to reduce recurring incidents.
• 5\-8 years of experience working in the BI / Analytics domain.
• Experience working in global organizations with distributed or decentralized teams.
• Ability to quickly understand existing systems, operational workflows, and technical dependencies.
• Strong understanding and hands‑on exposure to:
• \-Databricks (jobs, notebooks, pipelines, monitoring, operational support)
• \-Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, data engineering workloads, analytics, Power BI integration)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, MS SQL databases, and enterprise data architectures.
• Experience with Power BI and enterprise reporting environments.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling concepts (star schemas, snowflakes, denormalized models, slow‑changing dimensions).
• Understanding of disciplined data visualization and reporting practices.
• Experience with Service Management tools such as ServiceNow and agile/DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira is desirable.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be service‑minded, structured, and detail‑oriented.
• Be results‑driven, adaptable, and comfortable working with shared responsibility.
• Take ownership of operational outcomes and actively support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with modern, enterprise‑scale analytics platforms including Databricks and Microsoft Fabric, central to the organization's data and AI strategy.
• Gain broad exposure across the analytics lifecycle, from development handover to production support in a global environment.
• Share real operational ownership, supporting the Operations Team Lead and directly influencing service stability and quality.
