Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and result\-driven Area Manager to oversee bothpre\-opening projects and day\-to\-day restaurant operations across multiple outlets. The idealcandidate should have strong experience in restaurant operations, team management, SOPimplementation, audits, vendor coordination, and new store launches. This role requiressomeone who can efficiently manage operational excellence while ensuring smooth execution ofnew store openings from planning to launch.
1\. Pre\-Opening \& New Store Launches
● Lead end\-to\-end pre\-opening operations for new outlets.
● Coordinate with architects, vendors, kitchen consultants, contractors during store setup.
● Assist in kitchen planning, equipment setup, and operational flow design.
● Ensure all operational checklists are completed before launch.
● Coordinate licensing and compliance requirements with concerned teams.
● Recruit, train, and onboard staff for new outlets.
● Implement SOPs, recipes, operational systems, and service standards before opening.
● Conduct mock runs and ensure launch readiness.
● Support marketing and launch activities during new store openings.
2\. Day\-to\-Day Operations Management
● Monitor smooth functioning of all outlets and ensure operational efficiency.
● Conduct regular operational audits and hygiene inspections.
● Ensure adherence to SOPs, food quality standards, and service protocols.
● Analyze sales, wastage, labor, and operational reports.
● Control food cost, inventory, and operational expenses.
● Resolve operational issues and provide quick solutions to outlet teams.
● Monitor guest satisfaction and handle escalations professionally.
● Coordinate with chefs, outlet managers, and support departments.
● Drive staff productivity, discipline, and performance standards.
● Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
3\. Team Management
● Supervise outlet managers and operational staff.
● Conduct training sessions for service standards and SOP compliance.
● Build a strong operational culture focused on consistency and guest experience.
● Support manpower planning and staffing requirements.
Skills \& Requirements
● Minimum 5\-8 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
● Strong experience in, Restaurant pre\-openings, Multi\-outlet operations,
Audits and SOP implementation, Team management, Cost control and operational reporting
● Good leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
● Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest experience management.
● Proficiency in Excel, reports, and operational documentation preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
● Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration preferred.
● Experience with QSR, casual dining, café, or cloud kitchen brands preferred.
● Experience in handling multiple outlets will be an advantage.
