Operations Manager -Logistics

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily transportation and logistics operations to ensure smooth business execution.
• Manage fleet utilization, vehicle allocation, route planning, and dispatch activities to maximize operational efficiency.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of consignments while meeting customer service commitments and SLA requirements.
• Monitor vehicle movement using GPS and tracking systems, ensuring route compliance and operational visibility.
• Coordinate with customers, transporters, drivers, warehouses, and internal departments for seamless operations.
• Supervise dispatch, tracking, fleet, and operations teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely issue resolution.
• Optimize transportation costs through effective route planning, load optimization, and resource utilization.
• Monitor key operational expenses, including fuel, tolls, maintenance, and trip costs, and implement cost\-control measures.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, statutory requirements, safety standards, permits, insurance, and company policies.
• Manage vendor and transporter relationships, negotiate service agreements, and evaluate performance.
• Analyze operational KPIs such as on\-time delivery, vehicle utilization, turnaround time, fleet productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, operational dashboards, and performance reviews for management.
• Handle customer escalations, operational disruptions, vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and emergency situations effectively.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure vehicle availability, preventive maintenance, and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with the Accounts team for freight billing, trip verification, transporter payments, and expense reconciliation.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate operations staff, drivers, and supervisors to build a high\-performing team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Support business expansion by improving operational capacity, customer service, and process efficiency.
• Ensure accurate documentation, record maintenance, and compliance with audit requirements.

Pay: ₹35,000\.00 \- ₹45,000\.00 per month
