Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results\-driven **Operations Manager** to oversee the overall operations of our restaurant business. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, sound knowledge of Food \& Beverage operations, and proven expertise in driving profitability, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Manage the day\-to\-day operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Implement and maintain operational standards, SOPs, and service protocols.
- Monitor daily business performance and drive continuous operational improvements.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources to maximize productivity and profitability.
Financial \& P\&L Management
- Take ownership of the restaurant's Profit \& Loss (P\&L) performance.
- Monitor revenue, costs, profitability, and key financial indicators.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and operating margins.
- Control food cost, beverage cost, labor cost, and operational expenses.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
Food \& Beverage Operations
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, beverage quality, hygiene, and guest service.
- Oversee inventory management and stock control to minimize wastage and losses.
- Manage bar operations, including liquor inventory control, licensing compliance, and beverage profitability.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop restaurant teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development needs.
- Ensure effective manpower planning and workforce management.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.
Guest Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a superior dining experience.
- Address guest concerns and resolve escalations promptly and professionally.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
Compliance \& Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and hygiene standards, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular operational audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Business Growth \& Performance
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives to drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
- Analyze sales trends and operational data to support decision\-making and business planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Hospitality or Food \& Beverage Management will be an added advantage.
Required Skills \& Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Restaurant and Food \& Beverage Operations.
- Sound understanding of Profit \& Loss (P\&L) management.
- Experience in bar operations and beverage management.
- Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and cost\-control skills.
