• *Job Purpose**

To plan, execute, monitor, and coordinate all civil construction activities related to mill installations and associated infrastructure within the project site, ensuring completion within defined timelines, quality standards, safety requirements, and budgetary targets.

• *Key Responsibilities**
• -----------------------

### **Project Execution**

• Execute civil works related to Raw Mill, Cement Mill, Coal Mill, Roller Press, Fly Ash Handling System, and other process plant structures.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process teams for seamless project execution.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project milestones.

### **Planning \& Coordination**

• Prepare and track daily, weekly, and monthly construction plans.
• Identify critical activities and implement mitigation measures to avoid project delays.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, architects, and contractors for timely completion of works.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide progress updates.

### **Quality Management**

• Ensure compliance with approved quality plans, IS codes, technical specifications, and engineering standards.
• Monitor concrete works, structural works, foundations, equipment pedestals, roads, drainage systems, and industrial buildings.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure closure of non\-conformities.

### **Safety Management**

• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, permit systems, and company EHS policies.
• Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
• Promote a zero\-harm culture among contractors and workmen.
• Ensure all civil activities comply with statutory and environmental requirements.

### **Contractor \& Resource Management**

• Monitor deployment and productivity of contractors, manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Verify contractor bills and certify completed work quantities.
• Manage resource utilization to optimize project costs.

### **Cost \& Budget Control**

• Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality and safety.
• Support preparation of project estimates and work orders.

### **Documentation \& Reporting**

• Maintain records of project progress, measurements, contractor performance, and quality inspections.
• Prepare MIS reports, construction progress reports, and management presentations.
• Ensure proper document control of drawings, revisions, and site records.

• *Qualifications**

• *Education**

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

• *Experience**
• -------------

• 5\-12 years of experience in industrial construction projects.
• Experience in cement, steel, power, mining, or large manufacturing projects preferred.
• Hands\-on experience in mill foundations, RCC structures, industrial buildings, equipment foundations, and heavy civil construction.
