Job Summary

The Planning Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for civil construction and interior fit\-out projects. The role involves preparing project timelines, tracking progress, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring projects are completed within the planned schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
• Develop project work breakdown structures (WBS) and activity plans.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual progress against planned schedules.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with execution, procurement, design, and commercial teams for project planning.
• Identify delays, risks, and critical activities and recommend corrective actions.
• Track manpower, material, and equipment requirements as per project schedules.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Prepare recovery plans for delayed activities.
• Support project budgeting and resource allocation.
• Maintain project documentation and planning records.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide planning updates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in civil construction and interior fit\-out projects.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of project execution methodologies.
• Knowledge of commercial interiors, corporate offices, retail, and turnkey fit\-out projects.
