Plant Head

Job Summary

Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced **Plant Head** to lead and manage complete plant operations. The candidate must have strong manufacturing experience, leadership skills, and knowledge of production, quality, maintenance, and overall business operations. Experience in **industrial machinery manufacturing** is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete plant operations and ensure smooth functioning
• Plan and achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Lead Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and other departments
• Monitor manpower, machine utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency
• Develop and implement production plans and operational strategies
• Control manufacturing costs, wastage, and machine downtime
• Ensure quality standards, safety, and statutory compliance
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices
• Monitor departmental KPIs, KRAs, and performance reports
• Coordinate with senior management for business and operational targets
• Manage team performance and develop departmental leadership
• Improve production processes and overall plant efficiency

Qualifications

• B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum **20\+ years of experience in manufacturing**
• Minimum **5 years of experience as Plant Head**
• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory
• Candidate should preferably be based in **Punjab**
• Must be comfortable communicating in **Hindi and Punjabi**

• Experience with **Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems**
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and manufacturing MIS
• Experience in handling manufacturing businesses with annual turnover up to approximately **₹500 crore**
• Strong understanding of plant budgeting, operational costs, and business performance
• Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and profitability
