About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Procurement \& Proposal Executive to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands\-on experience in procurement, vendor management, cost estimation, and proposal development for engineering and industrial projects.
The ideal candidate will work closely with vendors, project teams, and business development professionals to ensure timely sourcing of materials, competitive pricing, and the preparation of winning technical and commercial proposals.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement \& Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, and OEMs.
- Source materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements.
- Obtain and analyze quotations, comparing pricing, quality, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost\-effective procurement solutions.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment and delivery schedules.
- Maintain vendor databases, pricing records, and procurement documentation.
Proposal \& Tender Support
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and bid submissions.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather technical and commercial inputs.
- Support cost estimation, budgeting, and proposal pricing activities.
- Ensure proposals are professionally formatted, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.
- Maintain records of submitted proposals, client requirements, and supporting documents.
Coordination \& Reporting
- Liaise with internal departments including Projects, Accounts, Operations, and Business Development.
- Track procurement activities and proposal status, providing regular updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procurement procedures.
- Support process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchase, Vendor Development, Proposal Coordination, Tendering, or Cost Estimation
Required Skills
- Strong vendor sourcing and supplier coordination capabilities.
- Good understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with industrial, engineering, construction, EPC, MEP, or consultancy projects.
- Familiarity with tendering processes, RFQs, and commercial proposal preparation.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement software will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹50,000\.00 per month
