• *Position Overview**

We are seeking a talented Product Engineer – STA to join our team in Bangalore and Noida. In this role, you will work on cutting\-edge 7nm and 5nm designs with various customers for the deployment of Aprisa place and route tools. You will be an expert in solving critical design challenges to achieve desired performance, area, and power targets. You will develop flows and methodologies for placement, CTS, and routing while providing training and technical support to customers using Aprisa tools. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility while enabling you to travel across India and globally to support our customers and teams shaping the future of semiconductor design.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and optimize placement, CTS, and routing flows and methodologies for complex block and full\-chip designs using Aprisa tools.
• Provide expert technical support and training to customers deploying Aprisa place and route tools for 7nm and 5nm designs.
• Solve critical design problems to achieve desired performance, area, and power targets for complex semiconductor designs.
• Identify and resolve timing, power, and area trade\-offs using deep domain expertise and optimization techniques.
• Collaborate with R\&D teams to develop signoff\-ready ECO flows and drive correlation improvements.
• Proactively triage and resolve customer issues and JIRAs, driving solutions through to completion with ownership mentality.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, AI\-assisted scripting) to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate debugging.
• Provide clear cross\-functional communication between customers, R\&D, and internal teams to ensure project success.

• *Qualifications**

• 2–4 years of hands\-on experience in Physical Design (floorplan, placement, CTS, routing) and timing closure of complex blocks and/or full\-chip designs.
• Proven experience with commercial place and route tools such as Synopsys\-ICC2, Cadence\-Innovus, or Aprisa.
• Tapeout experience on 2 or more projects.
• Strong understanding of timing, power, and area trade\-offs in semiconductor design.
• Highly skilled in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, AI\-assisted scripting) to optimize workflows, debug, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with strong presentation and problem\-solving skills.
• Experience with Static Timing Analysis (STA) tools such as PrimeTime and Tempus is preferred.

• *Additional Preferred Qualifications**

• Experience with multiple voltage islands and top\-level floor\-planning and chip\-assembly.
• BE/B.Tech in Electronics and Communication (E\&C), Electrical, or Telecom Engineering; ME/M.Tech in VLSI or Microelectronics is a plus.
• Ability to pick up new flows, learn on the job, and drive quality of results improvements.
