How this report is made
3ranga collects job listings from LinkedIn and Indeed several times a week and accepts direct postings from employers. Every listing is removed 14 days after it was posted, so the numbers describe current hiring rather than an archive of old jobs.
Each Monday we count every active listing in the index: in total, by city, by employer, by seniority, and for each of the 24 tech roles that have a role page on 3ranga. Week-over-week changes compare against the previous Monday's snapshot.
Limitations: the same job can be posted more than once (for example, once per city), role matching relies on job titles and listed skills, and most listings in India don't publish a salary, so this report doesn't estimate pay. Seniority comes from the source listing where it is given.
