Production Engineer

• *Production Planning and Execution**

• Execute daily production plans as per the production schedule.
• Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager for manpower and machine allocation.
• Ensure production activities are carried out according to approved drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor work\-in\-progress (WIP) and resolve production\-related bottlenecks.
• Maintain proper coordination between shifts and production teams.

• *B. Manufacturing Operations**

• Supervise day\-to\-day manufacturing activities and ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, tools, and raw materials.
• Monitor fabrication, assembly, machining, and other manufacturing processes as applicable.
• Ensure availability of materials and tools before starting production activities.
• Identify process\-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of materials and finished goods.

• *C. Quality Control**

• Ensure products are manufactured as per approved engineering drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department for inspection and quality clearance.
• Minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.
• Investigate production defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain process quality records and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Ensure non\-conforming products are identified and reported.

• *D. Manpower Management**

• Allocate jobs to operators, technicians, helpers, and other production employees.
• Monitor employee attendance, discipline, punctuality, and productivity.
• Provide on\-the\-job guidance and training to production employees.
• Ensure employees follow company rules, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Report manpower shortages and performance\-related issues to the reporting manager.

• *E. Machine Maintenance and Safety**

• Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are used safely and properly.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to resolve machine breakdowns.
• Report abnormalities, equipment failures, and unsafe working conditions.
• Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed in coordination with the Maintenance Department.

• *F. Documentation and Reporting**

• Maintain daily production reports and production achievement records.
• Record machine downtime, rejection, rework, and material consumption.
• Update production status and pending\-job reports.
• Maintain relevant production records and process documentation.
• Submit daily and periodic production performance reports to the reporting manager.

• *G. Continuous Improvement**

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
• Reduce production cycle time, material wastage, and operational costs.
• Implement corrective actions to minimize recurring production problems.
• Participate in process improvement, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
• Support implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Suggest improvements in workflow, material handling, and resource utilization.

• *Educational Qualification**

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
• Relevant technical qualifications and manufacturing of blower, Boiler, Pump experience will be preferred.

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: ₹30,000\.00 \- ₹35,000\.00 per month
