• *About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced **Production Manager** to lead and oversee manufacturing operations in our laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication facility. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in production planning, team management, process optimization, quality assurance, and continuous improvement while ensuring timely delivery, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

• *Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Management**

• Manage end\-to\-end production activities, including laser cutting, fabrication, assembly, and finishing operations.
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer delivery timelines.
• Optimize manpower, machine utilization, and production resources for maximum productivity.
• Monitor daily production performance and resolve operational challenges.

• *Team Leadership**

• Lead, mentor, and motivate production supervisors, machine operators, and shop floor staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training programs.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

• *Quality Assurance**

• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to minimize defects and rework.
• Coordinate with the Quality team to resolve production\-related quality issues.

• *Process Improvement**

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OEE, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
• Implement best manufacturing practices to enhance operational performance.

• *Resource Management**

• Ensure effective utilization of laser cutting machines, CNC equipment, fabrication tools, and manpower.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.

• *Health, Safety \& Compliance**

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 3834, OSHA, EHS, and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and promote a safe working environment.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and environmental regulations.

• *Customer \& Cross\-Functional Coordination**

• Work closely with Sales, Planning, Quality, and Customer Service teams to ensure on\-time delivery.
• Address customer concerns related to production and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders for seamless operations.

• *Budgeting \& Reporting**

• Manage production budgets and control operational costs.
• Prepare production reports, KPI dashboards, productivity analysis, and performance metrics for senior management.
• Support strategic planning and operational improvement initiatives.

• *Required Qualifications**

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12–18 years of production management experience in the **Sheet Metal, Laser Cutting, Metal Fabrication, or Engineering Manufacturing** industry.
• Strong knowledge of laser cutting technology, CNC operations, fabrication processes, and production planning.
• Hands\-on experience with ERP systems, CAD/CAM software, and production management tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OEE, ISO 9001, ISO 3834, OSHA, and EHS practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
