Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing all production activities related to corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, product launches, brand activations, and experiential marketing projects. The role involves coordinating with clients, vendors, fabrication teams, designers, and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution within timelines and budgets.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Production \& Execution
- Manage end\-to\-end event production and on\-site execution.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, venues, and internal teams.
- Ensure timely setup, dismantling, and delivery of event requirements.
- Supervise fabrication, branding, staging, audio\-visual, lighting, and event infrastructure.
- Conduct site visits and venue inspections before events.
Project Planning
- Prepare production schedules and execution timelines.
- Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment effectively.
- Develop contingency plans for operational challenges.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestone completion.
Vendor Management
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and production partners.
- Maintain a strong vendor database.
- Ensure quality standards and timely delivery from vendors.
- Manage vendor contracts and documentation.
Budget \& Cost Control
- Prepare production budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor project expenses and optimize costs.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Team for vendor payments and reconciliations.
- Ensure projects are executed within approved budgets.
Team Management
- Lead production coordinators, supervisors, and freelance staff.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Ensure smooth communication between Sales, Design, Accounts, and Production teams.
- Conduct regular team meetings and project reviews.
Quality \& Safety
- Ensure compliance with venue regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain quality control throughout production and event execution.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure proper handling of event equipment and assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in corporate event production and operations.
- Experience handling conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and brand activations.
- Strong vendor and client management skills.
