Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result\-oriented Production Manager – Sheet Metal
Fabrication to oversee and manage fabrication operations in our manufacturing unit. The
candidate should have strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, production
planning, team handling, and AutoCAD for technical understanding and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day\-to\-day production activities in the sheet metal fabrication department.
Plan, organize, and monitor fabrication processes to ensure timely project
completion.
Read and interpret technical drawings and AutoCAD designs for production
execution.
Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure production feasibility and
accuracy.
Supervise fabrication activities including cutting, bending, welding, assembly, and
finishing.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Maintain production schedules and achieve daily/monthly production targets.
Monitor product quality and implement quality control measures.
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company standards and
manufacturing procedures.
Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams for material planning and stock
management.
Reduce production downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Prepare production reports and update management on project status.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or
related field.
Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and production management.
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, machinery, and manufacturing
operations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for understanding technical drawings and layouts.
Experience in handling production teams and factory operations.
Knowledge of materials, welding techniques, and fabrication standards.
Strong leadership, problem\-solving, and decision\-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in advertising, retail branding, signage, or display manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of CNC machines, laser cutting, and bending operations will be an added
advantage.
Familiarity with production planning and inventory management systems.
