Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Electrical / relevant Engineering discipline

Required Skills

Mandatory experience with Husky Injection Moulding Machines.

Strong experience in Production, Maintenance and Quality coordination.

Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes and shop\-floor operations.

Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Strong leadership, manpower management and problem\-solving skills.

Good understanding of quality systems, safety standards and continuous improvement practices.

Roles \& Responsibilities

Plan, monitor and achieve daily/monthly production targets while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Manage and supervise day\-to\-day production activities on the shop floor.

Lead and manage the Production team and coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams.

Ensure efficient operation and optimum utilization of Husky Injection Moulding Machines.

Monitor machine performance, downtime and OEE, and implement measures to improve machine efficiency.

Prepare production plans and ensure timely execution as per customer requirements.

Ensure effective manpower planning, shift allocation and workforce productivity.

Monitor production output, rejection, wastage and cycle time to improve overall productivity.

Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

Coordinate with Quality to maintain product quality and reduce rejection levels.

Identify opportunities for reducing wastage, downtime and production costs.

Drive 5S, Kaizen, TPM, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with EHS, safety and standard operating procedures.

Analyze production KPIs including output, OEE, rejection, downtime, wastage and productivity.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production, quality and machine\-related issues and implement corrective actions.

Ensure timely completion of production\-related improvement projects.

Support internal/customer audits and ensure timely closure of production\-related observations.

Prepare and present regular production performance reports to senior management.

Work towards improving overall productivity, quality, cost efficiency and production performance.
