Production Manager

A Production Engineer in the medical equipment industry focuses on optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high\-quality production of medical devices while adhering to industry regulations and standards. They are involved in all stages of production, from initial design and process development to continuous improvement and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities:

· **Process Improvement:**Analyze and identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes, aiming to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.

· **Process Development:**Develop and document manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), manufacturing procedure documents, and router forms.

· **Equipment and Tooling:**Design, select, and implement tooling, automation, and test equipment to support manufacturing processes.

· **Quality Control:**Establish and maintain quality control measures, including process control points, testing procedures, and statistical controls.

· **Collaboration and Communication:**Collaborate with other departments, such as design engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of processes.

· **Documentation and Record Keeping:**Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date documentation of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.

· **Training and Support:**Train and support production technicians on day\-to\-day manufacturing operations and troubleshooting procedures.

· **Problem Solving:**Address production issues, including non\-conformities, and lead investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

· **Regulatory Compliance:**Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines.

· **Vendor Management:**Collaborate with vendors to source materials and components, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

· **Project Management:**Manage projects related to production improvements, new product introductions, and process change
