Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for heading the manufacturing operations. He is responsible for efficient and economical management of the shopfloor, ensure meeting of production targets and quality standards, optimising resources and implementing continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity and reduce wastage, costs etc.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee complete manufacturing process and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
Develop and execute daily, weekly and monthly production schedule based on sales plan.
**Monitor production output and adjust workflow to meet customer demands and deliveries.**
Optimise resource utilisation – manpower, material and machines.
**Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen to reduce wastage, rejection and improve process efficiency.**
Foster a culture of safety, discipline and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Production / Industrial / Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years in capacitor or electrical / electronic / mechanical components manufacturing industry – mass manufacturing.
