Production Supervisor

• *Job Summary**

We are seeking an energetic, detail\-oriented, and target\-driven **Production Supervisor** to oversee our fabric bedsheet manufacturing process during the night shift. In this role, you will be directly responsible for managing end\-to\-end production across three critical departments: **Cutting, Stitching, and Packing**.

Your primary goal will be to lead the floor team, optimize resource utilization, and ensure daily production targets are met without compromising on quality.

• *Key Responsibilities1\. Departmental Supervision**

• **Cutting Department:** Ensure precise fabric cutting according to design patterns, minimize fabric wastage, and maintain a steady supply of cut pieces to the assembly line.
• **Stitching Department:** Monitor stitching operators, ensure adherence to sewing specifications, maintain consistent stitch quality, and troubleshoot minor line bottlenecks.
• **Packing Department:** Oversee final quality checks, folding, iron/steam processes, and secure packaging according to client\-specific guidelines.

• *2\. Production \& Target Management**

• Drive the night shift workforce to hit hourly and daily production targets.
• Monitor efficiency, identify production delays, and implement immediate corrective actions on the floor.
• Ensure smooth coordination and material flow between the Cutting, Stitching, and Packing stages.

• *3\. Shift \& Workforce Operations**

• Manage floor labor attendance, allocate duties efficiently, and maintain high team morale during night hours.
• Conduct seamless shift handovers (reporting output achieved, pending targets, and machine statuses to the morning shift supervisor).
• Maintain accurate daily production logs and reports.

• *4\. Quality \& Safety Compliance**

• Conduct random spot\-checks to catch fabric defects or stitching flaws early in the process.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shop floor (5S practices).

• *Required Qualifications \& Skills**

• **Experience:** 1–2 years of supervisory experience in textile, apparel, or home furnishing manufacturing (specifically bedsheet/linen production is highly preferred).
• **Shift Flexibility:** Complete willingness and physical stamina to work consistent **night shifts**.
• **Technical Knowledge:** Basic understanding of fabric types, industrial stitching machines, cutting machinery, and garment/home textile defects.
• **Leadership:** Strong floor management and communication skills to handle a diverse workforce of tailors, cutters, and packers.
• **Result\-Oriented:** A problem\-solver mindset focused heavily on meeting timelines and production metrics.

• *Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**

• Achievement percentage of daily/nightly production targets.
• Reduction in fabric wastage percentage in the cutting department.
• Final product rejection/rework rate in the packing department.
• Shift attendance and labor utilization efficiency.

Pay: From ₹30,000\.00 per month
