• *Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Project Technical Support III professional to support research activities involving microbial isolation and identification, antimicrobial resistance profiling, biofilm studies, anti\-infective coating development, biocompatibility evaluation, and gene expression analysis. The candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological and molecular biology experiments, fabricating and characterizing coatings, evaluating their stability and efficacy, analyzing experimental results, and maintaining accurate research records in accordance with established laboratory protocols and biosafety standards.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

· Perform microbial isolation, identification, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) profiling, and biofilm studies.

· Develop, fabricate, and characterize anti\-infective coatings using appropriate material characterization techniques.

· Evaluate coating stability, biocompatibility, antibiofilm activity, and antivirulence efficacy through microbiological and cell culture assays.

· Conduct molecular biology experiments, including DNA extraction, RNA isolation, and quantitative PCR (qPCR), for gene expression studies.

· Analyze experimental data, interpret research findings, and prepare technical reports and research documentation.

· Maintain accurate laboratory records, experimental data, and equipment logs in accordance with established protocols.

· Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, pathogen biosafety, and procedures for the handling, storage, and disposal of biological samples and laboratory waste.

· Coordinate with the research team to support experimental planning, project execution, and timely completion of research activities.

· Assist in other research and laboratory activities assigned by the Principal Investigator or Reporting Officer.

• *Desired Candidates Qualifications**

· M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or any other relevant Life Sciences discipline, with a good academic record.

· Relevant research or laboratory experience in microbiology, molecular biology, biomaterials, or related fields will be an advantage.

· Hands\-on knowledge of microbial handling, pathogen biosafety, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, and biofilm assays.

· Practical knowledge of DNA extraction, RNA isolation, qPCR, and gene expression analysis.

· Understanding of anti\-infective coating development, fabrication, material characterization, stability evaluation, and biocompatibility testing.

· Familiarity with cell culture techniques, antibiofilm assays, and antivirulence studies.

· Ability to analyze experimental data, interpret results, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

· Strong analytical, problem\-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively while adhering to laboratory safety protocols and research standards.
