Purchase Officer

We are looking for a technically sound and detail\-oriented **Technical Purchase Executive** to manage procurement activities for engineering materials, industrial components, and technical equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical/electrical components, vendor management, and cost\-effective purchasing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of technical materials, engineering components, tools, machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare and review RFQs, quotations, comparative statements, and purchase orders.
• Negotiate with vendors to obtain competitive pricing, quality products, and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, Stores, and Accounts departments to understand material requirements.
• Verify technical specifications, drawings, and material descriptions before placing orders.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and material quality.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement documentation.
• Monitor market prices and identify cost\-saving opportunities.
• Ensure materials are procured in accordance with company requirements and approved budgets.

Eligibility Criteria

• **Educational Qualification:** Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification.
• **Experience:** 1–4 years of experience in technical purchasing or procurement, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing company.
• Good knowledge of industrial materials, engineering components, and technical specifications.
• Experience in vendor development, price negotiation, and purchase order management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and purchase documentation.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem\-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in industrial procurement, mechanical components, fabrication materials, electrical items, or machinery parts will be preferred.
• Should be proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple procurement requirements.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹20,000\.00 \- ₹24,000\.00 per month
