Job Description
- *Quality Analyst****Location:** Bangalore
- *Experience:** Seasoned practitioner with deep domain expertise and a demonstrated ability to lead technical direction and mentor others (6\+ years)
- *Job Summary**We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who's hands\-on with **Playwright** and passionate about quality. You'll build automation frameworks, work closely with development and product teams, and help deliver reliable, high\-quality software.
- *What You Will Do*** Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using **Playwright** and Cucumber (BDD)
- Design, execute, and maintain regression and end\-to\-end test suites
- Automate API tests covering functional, edge\-case, and negative scenarios
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Leverage GitHub Copilot or similar AI tools to improve productivity and test coverage
- Report defects clearly and collaborate across Development, QA, and Product teams
- Contribute to automation best practices and quality initiatives
- *What We Are Looking For*** 6\+ years of QA Automation experience
- Strong hands\-on experience with **Playwright**
- Experience with **Cucumber (BDD)** and automation framework development
- Proficiency in **JavaScript or TypeScript**
- Strong understanding of **Page Object Model (POM)** and test automation design patterns
- Strong experience in **REST API testing**
- Familiarity with **Postman/SoapUI** and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT
- Experience with **Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices**
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot
- *Nice to Have*** Exposure to **WebdriverIO**
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
- Test reporting tools: Allure or HTML Reports
- Exposure to performance, accessibility, or load testing tools such as JMeter or K6
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Experience working with cloud\-native and microservices\-based applications
- *Education*** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
