QA Engineer (Retail)

Why This Role?

Work fully hands\-on to plan, design, execute, and document testing across functional, integration, end\-to\-end, and regression cycles, validating software releases against business requirements and integrations, and owning the quality of assigned work.

Key Accountabilities

· Plan, design, execute, and document functional, integration, end\-to\-end, and regression testing for assigned scope.

· Analyze requirements and validate acceptance criteria, identifying risks and defects early through risk\-based and exploratory testing.

· Prepare and maintain test data, test environments, and execution evidence so release validation can proceed without avoidable delay.

· Perform API testing and web and mobile testing and prepare test data to ensure effective test coverage.

· Identify, report, and manage defects with clear reproduction steps, and perform timely retesting through to closure.

· Own reliable release validation for assigned work, ensuring committed scope is delivered on time with the required quality.

· Support UAT and launch readiness by coordinating defect triage, retesting, and sign off with product and business stakeholders.

· Support Agile delivery through delivery planning, estimation, and prioritization, and collaborate with engineers and product teams.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of testing, using AI\-assisted test case generation to accelerate coverage while maintaining quality standards.

Core Knowledge and experience

· Minimum 3 years of hands\-on software testing experience across functional, integration, end\-to\-end, and regression testing.

· Strong test case design, requirements analysis, acceptance criteria validation, and defect identification and management skills.

· Hands\-on experience with API testing, web and mobile testing, test data preparation, salesforce commerce cloud and risk\-based testing.

· Working knowledge of QA methodologies, Agile delivery, release validation, with a strong quality ownership mindset.

· Familiarity with AI\-assisted test case generation tools to support test coverage.

· Experience testing ecommerce or omnichannel customer journeys, APIs, web and mobile experiences, and integrations in an Agile release cadence.

Pay: ₹1,200,000\.00 \- ₹1,500,000\.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate

• Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
