Position: QA/QC Engineer – Lead

Role Brief

PurpleCode is hiring a QA/QC Engineer – Lead to take ownership of quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle for a leading mechanical engineering and construction organisation. The role involves maintaining quality systems, overseeing inspections and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities and maintain complete project quality documentation.
• Establish and oversee inspection and testing standards.
• Verify material quality, certifications and compliance with project specifications.
• Supervise inspections, testing schedules and quality audits.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments and inspection plans.
• Coordinate with technical teams, contractors, the Site Incharge and client representatives.

Key Requirements

• BE in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years of total experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a reputed organisation.
• Strong knowledge of ISO quality systems and project quality management.
• Experience with contractor/vendor documentation and material certification.
• Prior experience with a major refinery or petrochemical organisation in Jamnagar is strongly preferred.
