Quality Control (QC) Executive – Job Description

To ensure that all raw materials, packaging materials, in\-process products, and finished goods meet Anadi Sutra's quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory compliance before reaching customers.
- *Key ResponsibilitiesRaw Material Inspection**
- Inspect and verify the quality of incoming raw materials, herbs, spices, ingredients, and packaging materials.
- Ensure materials meet approved specifications before use in production.
- Maintain records of raw material testing and approvals.
- *In\-Process Quality Control**
- Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
- Conduct quality checks during blending, processing, filling, and packaging stages.
- Identify and report deviations, non\-conformities, and quality issues.
- *Finished Goods Inspection**
- Perform quality checks on finished products for appearance, taste, aroma, weight, labeling, and packaging.
- Approve or reject finished batches based on established quality standards.
- Maintain batch\-wise quality records and test reports.
- *Food Safety \& Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and food safety regulations.
- Support implementation of hygiene and sanitation practices in the production area.
- Participate in internal quality audits and inspections.
- *Documentation \& Reporting**
- Maintain QC reports, inspection records, and quality documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Record and investigate customer complaints related to product quality.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Assist in reducing product defects, wastage, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with Production and R\&D teams for continuous quality improvement.
- *Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Food, FMCG, Nutraceutical, or Ayurvedic manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Control procedures and testing methods.
- Understanding of FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Strong observation and analytical skills.
- Documentation and record\-keeping proficiency.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word).

- Batch approval accuracy.
- Reduction in product defects and rejections.
- Compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Timely completion of quality inspections and reports.
- Reduction in customer quality complaints.
- Audit compliance score.
