As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced **R\&D Engineering Manager** to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team in Bangalore and drive the development of innovative electromechanical products.

  • *About the Role**

As an **R\&D Engineering Manager**, you will lead cross\-functional engineering teams responsible for the complete product development lifecycle—from concept and feasibility through design, prototyping, testing, validation, and production launch.

This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders across Europe and the USA.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, and Systems Engineers.
  • Define and execute the R\&D strategy for new product development and electromechanical platforms.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
  • Plan team capacity, allocate resources, and support competency development.
  • *Product Development**
  • Lead the complete product development lifecycle from concept to production.
  • Drive system architecture for electromechanical products integrating mechanical, electrical, firmware, and control systems.
  • Review and approve engineering documentation, technical specifications, design calculations, verification, and validation plans.
  • Ensure designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, and manufacturability goals.
  • *Project Management**
  • Manage multiple R\&D projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to define technical requirements and product roadmaps.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external technology partners for new materials, components, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • *Quality \& Continuous Improvement**
  • Lead product validation, reliability testing, and root cause analysis activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and quality management systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and development efficiency.
  • *Required Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • 8–12\+ years of experience in electromechanical product development.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading engineering teams or managing technical projects.
  • Proven experience managing complex product development projects from concept through production.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, electronics, embedded systems, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Experience collaborating with cross\-functional and global engineering teams.

Pay: ₹1,000,000\.00 \- ₹1,200,000\.00 per year
