Reconciliation Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Reconciliation Manager to oversee end\-to\-end reconciliation operations across banking partners, payment gateways, digital wallets, settlement accounts, vendor accounts, and internal ledgers. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and experience in managing high\-volume transaction environments while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, payment gateways, settlement accounts, and internal ledgers.
• Monitor and investigate unreconciled transactions, settlement variances, and aged outstanding items.
• Ensure timely resolution of reconciliation breaks, mismatches, chargebacks, refunds, and payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile transaction data across multiple systems and financial platforms.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with finance, operations, banking partners, and vendors to resolve reconciliation issues.
• Support internal and external audits by providing reconciliation reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare periodic reconciliation reports and management summaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in reconciliation, finance operations, accounting, or financial control functions.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation and transaction matching processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, banking, payment processing, remittance, or financial services.
• Knowledge of payment gateways, digital wallets, and settlement processes.
• Experience handling high\-volume transaction environments.
