We are seeking a highly capable, result\-oriented, and hands\-on **Operations \& Store Manager** to lead store performance, customer experience, sales growth, inventory control, staff management, and day\-to\-day operations.
This role requires a leader who can think like a business owner, solve problems proactively, manage people effectively, and drive operational excellence while maintaining premium retail standards.
The Operations \& Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete retail store operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning, maximizing sales performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising staff, and supporting marketing and operational strategies.
The ideal candidate should have strong retail management experience, leadership ability, sales understanding, operational discipline, and customer relationship skills. This role requires someone capable of balancing both frontline retail management and backend operational responsibilities.
- *1\. Store Leadership \& Daily Operations**
- Oversee complete day\-to\-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Ensure the store maintains premium retail presentation standards at all times.
- Monitor store opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure operational discipline, cleanliness, and organized workflows.
- Identify operational gaps and implement improvements for efficiency.
- *2\. Sales Management \& Business Growth**
- Drive monthly sales performance and achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Develop in\-store strategies to improve customer conversion and average bill value.
- Train staff on upselling, cross\-selling, and customer engagement.
- Identify high\-demand categories and recommend business opportunities.
- *3\. Customer Experience Management**
- Ensure every customer receives exceptional service and expert product guidance.
- Handle customer concerns, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Build long\-term customer relationships and retention strategies.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and continuously improve the shopping experience.
- *4\. Team Management \& Staff Supervision**
- Lead, supervise, and motivate retail staff to achieve performance goals.
- Create staff schedules and manage attendance.
- Monitor employee productivity and discipline.
- Train team members on product knowledge, customer handling, and sales techniques.
- Conduct staff performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- *5\. Inventory \& Warehouse Control**
- Monitor stock movement, replenishment, and availability.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through proper tracking and audits.
- Prevent stock loss, damages, or operational leakages.
- Coordinate stock receiving, tagging, organizing, and replenishment.
- Analyze fast\-moving and slow\-moving products.
- *6\. Visual Merchandising \& Store Standards**
- Maintain premium\-level visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure products are displayed strategically to maximize visibility and sales.
- Implement seasonal displays, launch displays, and promotional setups.
- Continuously improve store presentation aligned with premium sports retail standards.
- *7\. Marketing \& Brand Support**
- Support management in executing marketing campaigns and promotional offers.
- Coordinate with the content/social media team for in\-store campaigns, reels, and promotions.
- Ensure proper execution of product launches and retail campaigns.
- Suggest local marketing ideas to increase footfall and brand visibility.
- *8\. Operations \& Business Reporting**
- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports.
- Monitor KPIs such as:
- Sales conversion rate
- Average basket size
- Repeat customer ratio
- Staff productivity
- Inventory movement
- Provide management with operational insights and improvement suggestions.
- Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and senior management when required.
- *9\. Loss Prevention \& Compliance**
- Ensure proper cash handling and operational compliance.
- Prevent inventory shrinkage and unauthorized stock movement.
- Maintain store safety and operational standards.
- Ensure company SOPs are properly implemented.
- **Education:** Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Minimum **2–5 years of retail management experience** (sports, fashion, lifestyle, footwear, or premium retail preferred).
- Proven experience in sales leadership and retail operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem\-solving ability.
- Knowledge of inventory control and retail merchandising.
- Ability to manage operations under pressure.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems, retail reporting, and inventory software is preferred.
